Christmas greetings from World Vision!
As we all prepare to celebrate God’s gift to us, I wanted to share some very encouraging news on the gift of water you are helping provide to almost one million people each year. I just returned from the third annual WASH Africa conference, where members of World Vision’s WASH teams across Africa convened in Senegal to share results from 2012 and set plans for the coming year.
His letter further included a remarkable report about World Vision’s WASH program, particularly as it focuses in Africa:
- Over 900,000 people received access to safe water in fiscal 2012, up from roughly 200,000 in fiscal 2010.
- A doubling of funding for WASH since 2010 has resulted in 4x the impact!
WaterAfrica celebrates this news! As we continue to partner with World Vision to bring life-changing Water, Sanitation and Hygiene to those in need we are changing lives.
