Walk4Water6startWe were blessed with a beautiful Saturday morning as our WaterAfrica community gathered at Foothills Park to take a Life-Changing Walk together. We look forward to sharing Walk4Water6 pictures, stories and video here on our blog in the coming days. If you follow us on Facebook you’ll find we’ve begun posting pictures there.

Don’t miss these honest and powerful opening remarks from Dr. Emmanuel Opong, the regional director of World Vision’s Southern Africa WASH program. Emmanuel told us about his grief in losing his only sister to diarrhea-related death when they were young children growing up in a village in Ghana. He closed by admonishing us: “As you walk, be filled with joy…you are using your time to save human life.”

We will have a fundraising report soon. Our goal was to raise $60,000 to provide a lifetime of clean Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for 1200 Villagers living in rural Zambia. If you would like to help us meet that goal you can still Donate Here
