Clean Water Joy!

In this season of giving we invite you to share the joy of clean water.

This past July a WaterAfrica travel team watched as a World Vision crew drilled deep beneath the parched, dry ground of rural Zambia. We soon found ourselves standing in a powerful splash of fresh, clean water! Shouts of joy and happy dancing erupted all around us as freshly drilled water soaked us all.

As Dr. Greg Allgood, Vice President, World Vision Water, told the crowd at our Clean Water For Life event in October:

“We saw the kids celebrating as the water erupted. There’s nothing like giving clean drinking water to a village that has never had it before.”

Clean Water Joy

Since 2006, WaterAfrica has raised $1.5 million and partnered with World Vision to provide sustainable, clean water for 30,000 people living in Zambian villages. World Vision, the largest nongovernmental provider of clean water in the developing world, is currently on track to provide clean drinking water to every person everywhere they work by 2030. WaterAfrica has committed to raise another $1.5 million by 2020, which will provide safe water for 30,000 more people and help World Vision complete its water goals in Zambia by 2020!

This month you can give a gift of clean water and share the joy. WaterAfrica has secured a 3:1 donation match – multiplying your donations for maximum impact!

That’s right! This year your donation will triple!

  • $50 becomes $150 and provides water for 3 villagers for the rest of their lives
  • $500 becomes $1500 and provides water for 30 villagers for the rest of their lives
  • $5,000 becomes $15,000 to provide clean water and sanitation for an entire village (300+ people)

DONATE CLEAN WATER

ALSO – If you want to give clean water as a holiday present this year,
indicate this in our online donation process and we will link you to a digital card which you can print and give to your recipient.
