Fred Mazumba & Girl Scouts W4W5
With Fred Mazumba at W4W5

Last year this group of young girls solicited sponsors for their participation in Walk4Water5 and were able to donate $250! This year as First Year Brownie Troop 40473 from Oregon City, these second graders wanted to do more and so they donated out of their cookie sales and again are asking people to sponsor their participation in Walk4Water6. With this effort they are well on the way to doubling last year’s donation!

Additionally, they prepared and delivered a presentation to leaders in their Service Unit inviting other Troops to get involved by donating, sponsoring or walking. Please take 2.5 minutes to watch these girls speak on behalf of WaterAfrica and Walk4Water. They are truly engaged in one of their Troop laws: “Make the World a Better Place” and we are grateful.

Thank you Troop Leaders Gina Spady and Kathy Larimer. Thank you Parents of Brownie Troop 40473. Thank you Girls!! You are indeed making the world a better place!
