SPLASH ZONE

WaterAfrica’s fundraising supports World Vision’s Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) work in rural Zambia. In our ongoing effort to serve as a trusted conduit between our donors and the impact of their gifts, WaterAfrica representatives traveled (at their own expense) to Zambia in July 2015, to get a firsthand update on World Vision’s WASH work there.

One afternoon our Travel Team met the community members from Singamu Village and found ourselves standing with them in the midst of a great Splash of freshly drilled water. Standing in the SPLASH ZONE represents a powerful transformation which we know begins with clean water and then ripples and splashes to fullness of life – creating communities where children thrive.

We invite you to explore our Zambia 2015 Trip Report as we publish it here. You can read the first two installments:

The SPLASH ZONE – Preparation

The SPLASH ZONE – Change Agents

We also invite you to learn more at Clean Water For Life on October 31, where you will hear about World Vision’s commitment to work with partners to expand their efforts so that they will reach one new person with clean water every 10 seconds by 2020, and then continue at this pace until they reach everyone, everywhere they work by 2030!

Our Travel Team will present a Zambia 2015 Trip Report at this event. Please join us!
