Hamaundu Partnership

WaterAfrica believes that access to safe water is a basic human right. However, millions of people around the world do NOT have access to this fundamental resource. Women and children spend much of their time collecting dirty water for their families’ needs and spend the rest of their time coping with the consequences of using this unsafe water.

For the past five years, WaterAfrica has raised awareness and funds to address this problem in southern Zambia. We partner with World Vision to bring water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) resources to African villages through long-term, sustainable methods. We have seen this investment produce dramatic changes in health, food supplies, educational opportunities, and income development. WASH resources bring transformation and hope to a village.

Now WaterAfrica is excited to announce our partnership with World Vision as we focus on a particular region in southern Zambia. WaterAfrica has committed to raise $100,000 each year for the next five years to help fund World Vision’s WASH projects in Zambia.

We invite you to Join Us a WaterAfrica Partner

During these next five years, we will follow World Vision’s development work in Hamaundu, a newly established World Vision Area Development Program (ADP) in Southern Zambia. We look forward to reporting information and sharing stories about the transformative process with you. Please join us as we Walk With Hamaundu to a future filled with hope and possibility. Lives will be changed. You can help.
You Can Become a WaterAfrica Partner by committing to one of the repeat giving options on our Donate page.
